Airfix 1/48 Hurricane Mk.1 Tropical

Hi Folks,

 

Will also do a 2nd Hurri for this GB. Looks simple enough. Opened the box and the seat cried out for belts so ordered those for both builds so my builds will be a tad late off of the start line. 

 

Again I will do the box art on this one as the desert scheme is quite lovely.  Hataka paints on the way for this one as well.

It’s quite the iconic scheme, and I agree, very hard to go past.

Airfix did a pretty good job with this kit. Mine went together reasonably well, although I had to chop some of the lovely internal cockpit detail away and clamp the wing to fuse join rather more heavily than I’m used too. This kit captures the Hurricane’s shape and sit rather nicely to my eye. 
 

Best of luck with your kit and I applaud your choice of scheme.
