Stefan Buysse Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Hi, Here's my KC-135R project. Somehow I'm running a bit late with all my builds this year. I will be using one those precious Fisher corrected noses on this one. Mr Fisher's place was destroyed in fire a couple of years ago, so all of his products are no longer made. I'll also use the "Updraft Modelworks" CFM 56's. I'll build it as one of our local Mildenhall KC-135R's (Mildenhall being the nearest permanent KC-135 base for me). Cheers, Stefan. 6

Stefan Buysse Posted September 21 Author Posted September 21 Hi, I've done more cutting than gluing together.😉 It takes some careful cutting to remove the supports from the Updraft Modelworks parts. The supports for the bits with the pylons have "Port Inner" etc engraved in them. I made some pieces of paper to tape to the parts when I cut them loose. I had a look on Airliners.net to check if 58-0001 requires the installation of the underwing refuelling pods that are in the kit. They are not needed for this airframe. Cheers, Stefan. 3
