NAVY870 Posted September 6 Posted September 6 I got this one for Christmas of Flag Officer Home Fleet in 2008, Utter pig of a kit woeful fit, inaccurate for any version of de Havs finest, probably why it took so long. Even more annoying since I offered access to all my references to CA when it was first announced. Anyway enough moaning, here tis: WZ.943 / 865 / NW of 724 Squadrons Ram Jets aerobatic team and one of it sitting on the real 943's intake splitter plate. 39 2 1
CJP Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Nice & neat Sea Venom - would be nice if Airfix turned their attention to a 1/48 Sea Venom & HAS Wessex 1 2
jenko Posted September 6 Posted September 6 The words "silk purse from sows ear" springs to mind. That is a lovely silk purse of the finest quality. Nice one Steve 👍 Dick 1
wellsprop Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Absolutely superb! Having built this kit myself, I agree it's a challenge, you've made and excellent job of it 1
rholland Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Lovely work Steve. Are those the Dekls decals? I have them for the 1/32 Revell/ Matchbox kit, did they perform well? I will probably need your help during the build…🙏 . Fortunately I have the AMS seats at least. Richard in NZ 1
