Marklo Posted September 16 Author Posted September 16 Paper masks drawn and scaled Applied And painted. Reveal after I walk the dogs… 5
Marklo Posted September 16 Author Posted September 16 Not too bad. Wracking my brain as to how to do the spots ( I’m going for the Daimler Benz ambush scheme btw, round dots rather than circle cutouts) then remembered I had just these on Monday ( in fairness I ordered them two weeks ago so that’s where I forgot) then perfect tool. Next up I’m going to fit the road wheels and tracks. I may be missing some of the wheel hubs so might have to make a few resin copies ☹️damn you carpet monster, doubly ironic as I don’t have carpets… 5
Marklo Posted September 16 Author Posted September 16 Road wheels and tracks fitted. Schurzen masked and painted And fitted. Here’s where we are at the end of the day. The Vanilla panther needs its spots and the Ersatz M10 needs some modulation. Then detail painting and markings on both. And we’re ready for some distressing. 8

Marklo Posted September 20 Author Posted September 20 Masking on the Etsatz M10 unmasked After a bit of touching up. 8
Col. Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Seeing the two together shows how far they went to disguise the shape. 1 1
2996 Victor Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Great work, Mark, both the Panther and the "M10" are looking excellent! Cheers, Mark 1
Marklo Posted September 22 Author Posted September 22 ersatz m10 masked for lowlights and highlights And we have a lesser spotted Panther Very pleased with the result. So the plan, modulation on the M10, decals on the Panther, a little detail painting and then a bit of light distressing. Both would have been reasonably clean so lived in not decrepid 😄. 4
Marklo Posted September 23 Author Posted September 23 Tactical numbers in the Panther. The Ersarz M10 had been modulated Just need to paint the mgs and then they’re both factory finished and ready for weathering. 6
