Both are very nice.  Weathering is superb. I love it

Thank you Franz! Not my best work, but far from my worst. 😂

Love that photo.... the paint details and decals really bring out the best in these kits. You've done well with these Gerard.

Thanks Dave! I’m certainly loving making some modelling progress. 😂 But yes they are both lovely kits to work with which really helps.

Very nice build, as I am currently building the Sea Hurricane, I understand the issues. Although my wing fuselage join was very good with only minimal fettling drilling out location holes also helps a lot.

Thanks! You’re right in that the fit is not perfect a little bit of fettling sees it right.

And it’s done!

Hurridone

Bit rough and ready, I fully concede. But I guess so was the real thing! And as I’ve remarked previously, this was a great build to practice rusty skills on and try new techniques ahead of my 1/48, which itself is all but done now too.

I’ll get some gallery pics tomorrow, but for now thanks for all the likes and encouraging comments. I’m having a lot of fun with this GB!

I didn’t know you spoke fluent ‘Kiwi’?

I'll talk to you later. <_< :D

This has come up beautifully Gerard. The Mk I in the desert scheme always looks a bit different,  your work has brought that out a treat. :)

Steve.

Haha! You know we Aussies love our Kiwi brothers and sisters so much we let you regularly beat up on our rugby team. 🤣

Thanks Steve! I was originally drawn to this boxing by its two RAAF marking schemes, but yes the desert Malta scheme really drew me in.

Ha… OK, off to the naughty corner I go. You know it’s all in jest Steve and it doesn’t take much for me to find the humorous side of anything. I’ll grow up one day.. promise!
