I admire you being as organised as that Simon, I tend to get to a stage & then go looking at the sprues to see what is left on them. & invariably discover something that should have gone into the interior early on.

It's had a matt coat (photos will follow) and I'm deciding whether to do any weathering.

Proof it's had its matt coat...

 

I'm going to do some exhaust staining, using some AK pencils. I also need to replace one of the outer wing guns because I managed to push it into the wing when picking the kit up...🙄

The canopy also needs some touching-up.

I feel your pain! Sounds like something I would do. ☺️

Thought I had better catch up with the progress of some group builds and this had scrubbed-up really nicely although my heart missed a beat when I thought you'd messed up the fuselage codes but all was good and she looks fabulous with the matt coat. Good work Simon.

Congratulations on another fine Hurricane build. I think we are in for a bit of a whirlwind (or should that read Hurricane🌀) finish to this GB  so it’s great to these fine kits all coming tighter rather nicely. Well modelled @Beard.

I've been busy with life and the need to decide what finish to have on this:

(I'm thinking a semi-translucent red, so you can see the wood grain, like this:

Opinions are welcome (as long as they are the same as mine).)

 

Anyway, despite the destructions, Ive been fiddling with this build and it's nearly finished.

Oh wow, some 1/1 scale work! Is that something you’re building or restoring? For finish I’m thinking it would look fantastic in classic dark earth and dark green…!
