Enzo the Magnificent Posted August 15 Author Posted August 15 An FGR 2 built ten years ago for the Phantom STGB. This is the Fujimi kit. Airfix FG.1 buikt a couple of years ago for the FAA GB. 14
theplasticsurgeon Posted August 16 Posted August 16 First my 1/72 Fujimi builds. No 1 an RAF FGR-2 of 56 Sqdn Firebirds, built 2008. Next a Royal Navy FG1 of 892 NAS, built 2013. And an RAF FGR-2 of 41 Sqd, built 2023. Phinally a 1/48 Revell RAF Phantom of 111 Squadron, built in 1977 by a schoolboy younger version of me. A highly inaccurate kit, from before I knew any better. This a modified F-4J (of unknown origin), with Spey shaped exhausts - of J-79 size, without any aux air intakes. Replaced by a far more accurate Revell kit, it would be a very rare find now. 12
Jabba Posted August 17 Posted August 17 A few of my Airfix ki builds. FG1 892 Sqn. FGR2 19 Sqn Queens silver jubilee flypast. FGR2 The alcock and Browne scheme IAT 1979. 12
TonyW Posted August 18 Posted August 18 I don't have anything I can build for the GB, but I do have a few old pictures that I can add... Neither were built by me, they came to me as part of a collection I bought recently. I added the ladders and made the base for them. This one I did build. It got built during one of the Matchbox GBs a while ago. Straight out the box build with just the wheel chocks and base to jazz things up a bit. 12
Dermo245 Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Just the one from me from the Frog GB.. Frog F-4K M Phantom_Done_8 Cheers, Dermot 4
TeeELL Posted September 19 Posted September 19 My 29(F) Sqn builds: Fujimi version: This is finished as the aircraft in which I flew my final sortie on 29(F) Sqn. a strong gust of wind!! This has to be the cleanest F4 ever. To be honest, I didn’t ‘feel the love’ for the Fujimi kit, I am still determined to beat a NT Airfix version into submission. 4 1

wimbledon99 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 I was sure I'd had a go at a Phantom in the past so went hunting through Flickr. Found this from 2018 1
speedy Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Well I'm not in the GB, here's mine 1/32 J model from a couple of years ago. Hopefully will help someone along. Steve. 6
