Thanks guys, Compared with the Colourcoats SCC2 I had previously it looks perhaps a little dark so maybe I should have added a bit more yellow, but it will do. When painted in a disruptive pattern the other colour was SCC1A "very dark brown" and there would maybe be not quite enough contrast against my version of SCC2. This is how my Covenanter looks with Colourcoats paint on - the SCC2 is the lighter one. Compared with Mike Starmer's mix, it looks perhaps a little too light to me. I have only seen two preserved tanks in what may be intended to be SCC2 - one being the Churchill outside the entrance to the Tank Museum 30 plus years ago that I posted over in ToE's Mk I thread and a surviving Covananter which was dug up in 1977 from a farm in Dorking where it had been buried, and restored. At that time as I mentioned the Museum were not into totally accurate painting and this is my photo taken on my old camera in poor lighting conditions. I guess it is meant to be SCC2 but is very light to my mind - they may have repainted it by now. Pete Edited August 20 by PeterB 3
