Work kidnapped most of my time this week, so I couldn’t get much done. To make things more exciting, today turned out to be a bit of a putty day, and the kit decided it didn’t want to fit properly. It seems that images on Imgur are not now available to UK users as from the 25th September. Oh dear. Can't see your stuff just now. Don't know what to suggest. Rob PS: If I view BritModeller through a VPN as if I'm not in the UK I can see the images. But I can't imagine many people will do that. What a pain of a problem! At least the GB hosts should be ok! That's really helpful of you, thanks. I can see the first image without problems, but not the second. This is giving me the same message as Imgur - "Content not viewable in your region". Is the second still on Imgur? On the first one, the black looks great. cheers Rob 1
Franz75 Posted October 4 Author Posted October 4 Breaking news from the paint department: I’ve officially survived the sanding marathon and slapped on the final coat of primer. For the first time ever, I unleashed the mighty MR Finishing Surfacer 1500, and honestly—I might be in love. 💕 After that, I tried some aftershading with white paint, and shockingly, it didn’t look like a toddler’s art project. I actually achieved something… dare I say… decent! Now it’s time for the main colors of the scheme. The finish line is in sight, folks. Almost there—cue the dramatic victory music! 11

Wings unlevel Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Interesting. It does seem a little lighter than the AK Real dark green I used on mine. Mine was from the older bottle but I’m not sure they would have changed the paint formula, just the container it comes in?
Franz75 Posted October 14 Author Posted October 14 Just finished painting the main colors! Next up are the insignia, then some color modulation. The green’s a bit too bright right now, but it should mellow out nicely after weathering! 7
