First, haven't done that in ages, Airfix MkIIC with a mix of Zvezda and Xtradecal decals, painted with AK interative for the top camo and humbrol for the bottom grey, finished with Winsor and Newton Matt

1/72 Hasegawa Hurricane llc Irish Air Corps

 

Built box stock, except replacing the prop blades with ones from an Academy kit and adding a pilot's rear view mirror. Tamiya RAF paint. Probably not entirely accurate, but close enough for my shelf.

Evening Folk's,here's the Hobbyboss 1/48 Hurricane ll.Lovely kit to build with no real vice's and a good response as far as accuracy is concerned from thos in the 

know.

Hawker Hurricane I, V7795, Plt Off Bill Vale 80 Sqd Greece and Crete April-May 1941.  Old tool Airfix 1/72 with Yahu IP (invisible🙄) Roundels and fin flash DK Decals, serials cobbled together from spares box.  Tropical filter left over from Legato Hurricane II kit, prop and spinner from spares box.

Subject: P3731, J, Flt Sgt Fred Robertson, No. 261 Squadron, RAF Hal Far, Malta, Autumn 1940

Build: OOB plus aftermarket Eduard PE seatbelts and Falcon vac-form canopy, which was divided with a scalpel to allow it to be mounted open.

Paints: Tamiya throughout, over Mr Hobby Black base.  

Weathering:  Oil pin wash, pastels, silver pencil

Arma Hobby’s 1/72 kit pretty much OOB. Mr Color, AK Real and SMS lacquer paints. Rough around the edges, just like the real thing!

Arma 1/72nd Sea Hurricane Ib 880 Sqn FAA Operation Pedestal August 1942

My contribution to this GB is the rather nice, but not straightforward Arma kit

This is one of my two entries, a Hurricane IIb of No. 253 squadron RAF.

 

It's the 1/72 Arma Hobby kit, built from the box with the exception of the outer machine guns which were replaced with stretched sprue (in hindsight, I should've used hollow tube) and a pitot from the spares box (as the kit one went missing).

It's painted with Tamiya XF-69 and a mixture of Humbrol, Colourcoats, and Tamiya for detail bits, finished with Windsor & Newton matt varnish. I used AK Interactive weathering pencils for the exhaust staining.

Hasegawa (with arma mki propellor) Hurricane IIC LF363 BBMF 2013. decals from the spares box, painted with Humbrol 26, 86 and AK Sky, finished with Winsor and Newton Matt

Morning folk's second and sadly final build is Hobbyboss's MKii as a post war finished airframe this aircraft flew coastal defence missions for the last couple of

years of the war then after being saved from the scrapheap still flies with the BBMF.

Arma Hobby 1/72 Hurricane Mk I in the colours of the machine flown by Flt Lt James Nicolson when he won his VC during the Battle of Britain, Fighter Commands only VC of WW2.

Built pretty much OOB, there isn't much needs doing with this kit, it was a lovely build. Topside colours were Humbrol acrylic dropper 116 US Dark Green & Vallejo 70.921 English Uniform, underside was a 1;1 mix of Vallejo 70.885 Pastel green & 70.951 White, which gave a shade pretty close to the chip in the RAF museum book.
