mick b Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Gutted to hear the 1/350th proposed projects will not come to fruition, especially the Wair V&W but totally respect the reasoning behind it and wish Mike and Starling Models the best success going forward. Mike 1 1

Bit disappointed about the 1/350 scale stuff. Fully understand his rationale, the guy's got to make a living. No point in spending money developing products that no one buys. I'm going to try 1/350 scale having dabbled in 1/700 scale and, boy did it hurt my brain. Failing eyesight and fat fingers doth not maketh 700 scale ships !!! Regards MM 1
Mike McCabe Posted Wednesday at 04:34 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:34 PM Thanks everyone, yes as others have said there is a new website address www.starlingmodels.co.uk Unfortunately sales of the 1/350 kits have not been what I had hoped, there is a lot of kits available in this scale now and I'm not sure that direction is the best use of my limited time and resources. There will be some small 1/350 kits still, those that don't require resin cast hulls and too many small parts. The HMS Nadder kit may be the one that is made available again but I will have to cost that one out before making a decision. Most likely the other kits will gradually be discontinued as they go out of stock or I will perhaps look for some other means of makng them available once that happens. The 1/350 accessories range will still be available and will be added to when opportunity allows. For those who prefer the more affordable and less space demanding smaller scale, there is a lot in store to interest you. Mike 5 1
missile-monkey Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Mike, Totally understand. My fat fingers and failing eyesight is the only reason I can't model in 1/700 scale !! I wish you every success in you new business venture. Regards MM.......
