It's such a small surface area on which to work, that the finish needs to be almost perfect...as yours is. Many thanks! All the paints used are Vallejo including the metal surfaces which are their Metalcolor range. The leading edges I did use Alclad though. I then sprayed a few layers of my home brew gloss. Which is klear, distilled water and galleria retarder. 1
bentwaters81tfw Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I know you have sweated blood to get this far. Should look great on the table. 1

I had always thought how gorgeous the Lears were, and then sitting in the cockpit, I didnt like how it was layed out. It felt awkward. Climbing into a sabreliner cockpit was the opposite. It was a pilots cockpit. That acft was the Sabreliner corporate jet, it had just been refurbished and was beautiful Inside and out. I also got up close with a Navy trng acft that came in to the FBO. It had RIO trng stations in back for students and instructors. Very neat acft. Thanks for that insight. These are great looking corporate jets and in my opinion are more attractive than the Lear. Saying that I might still build one of the Valor jets that are regularly seen around here. There's still a Sabreliner flying in Navy colours I think, & that does look really nice in that dark blue. 1

Terry1954 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 This one is looking so good, so far, Martin. Really like to see 20th TFW stuff, and this one is a little unusual, but very relevant. Hope I'll get to see this at SMW 2025! T. 2

Just need to find the time to take some decent photos of it. It fits in with a few of my previous builds & yes I will bring it along to SMW. 2
