The building assembled.

 

 

 

Work is still ongoing on the boat. Lots of work needed here.

 

 

This is how the boat will fit into the boathouse, except that it will have a cradle to sit on.

 

 

Now some work on the slipway.  The longitudinal struts are obviously provided but I decided to replace them with wooden ones cut from garden plant naming tabs.  The lateral struts are from card, laminated in pairs.   I have used lots and lots of Copydex in the closed sections to make sure the assembly is robust.

So this is a sled launched boat that sits on an incline. The U.S. Coast Guard had early rescue launches like this.

This one is proceeding, albeit quite slowly.  Still on track though.
