Having just spent 2 hours folding 4 photo etch yard arms for a Type 23 foremast, I can really appreciate the effort you've put in.

 

BTW, where did you source the bridge roof Union flags, the colour of the kit one is way off.

What a splendid model!  From the tromp d'oeil tin-canning to the just-right weathering to the fine details you’ve added, just superb. Your WIP was a pleasure to watch, and the end result is really something. BZ!

Great build and detailing there Rod something special to me about the T42 especially HMS Newcastle our hometown ship remember visiting her on a home visit as a 12 year old Sea Cadet in 1978 yes that old.

You give the strong impression that you absolutely know what you are doing and the fine result was never in doubt.  Only a fraction of BM posts get to that higher plane.

Fooled me too then - beautiful ship build.  No ifs, no buts, just beautiful (except being from Edinburgh I could raise the old rivalry and suggest you should build an HMS Edinburgh )
