robw_uk Posted June 9 Posted June 9 This build has been pushed up to see if I can enter the paint on plastic Ma.K 2025 competition. Starting off with the Wave Prowler but may look to open a few access panels with a long term aim to build a bit of a vignette of it being serviced.... Would mean some scratch building - biggest of which would be to allow me to have an empty cockpit Box and sprues 7
Yg Models Posted June 10 Posted June 10 this is a nice space type SAFS. i built a similar suit last year. 4

Yg Models Posted June 10 Posted June 10 (edited) you plan to build open hatch mode, shall wait wave publishes interior addon components. PS: not following resin one, but wave gets the license, going to convert this into injection kit ver this year.😉 https://www.1999.co.jp/10461418 Edited June 10 by Yg Models 2

My other thought would be to have it in maintenance so that there was a "screen" that went over the interior to stop debris falling in - sort of like the covers over jet engine intakes - that way I need to put in a plastic cover with a handle... having said that, I wanted to open a panel up but the only big one is under the canister (whatever it is - black on your build) on the side) so don't think I will do that either 2
robw_uk Posted June 14 Author Posted June 14 Build started... Opened a panel just for the heck of it.... 8
robw_uk Posted July 1 Author Posted July 1 At least it isn't legless!!! All parts clicked on to allow easier painting 7

Pete in Lincs Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Yep, like that wiring. Very neat and as per Kreiger lore. 1
Pete in Lincs Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Or should that be soldering wire? Probably a translation error. 😊
robw_uk Posted July 5 Author Posted July 5 More work..... Added the wiring from control panel to engine and finished the laser sight thingy for the shoulder. Need to add a little texturing here and there and then can paint..... 6
robw_uk Posted July 10 Author Posted July 10 Ready for primer.... Bigs and bobs just dry fitted..... 6
robw_uk Posted July 27 Author Posted July 27 Very clean white and red markings... Next stop decals then I can start weathering 7 1
