The Spadgent Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Spadgents 2023 yearbook. Hello and welcome to my super late 2024 yearbook. 2024 was the most terrible year so far for my family. We are coming through the woods but not without lumps and bumps to prove it and indeed other things to avoid but thats life right. I won't go into details as I can't be doing with all the sympathy / empathy stuff but I know you will have all said very kind things so Lets just leave it there. You lot know that we all lean on modelling and the camaraderie of folk of this particuilar parish to help get us through hard times. It helps and it's apreciated massively and I love you all. I still need to do RFIs for a few of these builds, I'll get there by hook or by crook. Once again thankyou all ( if you do ) for followibg along with me and helping me through the days good and bad. Enough of that and on to this. HotShot 2 (Blockhead motors Edition) Tamiya 1/10 WIP RFI The Honda Dax 125 by Tamiya 1/12 WIP RFI The P40-f War Hawk by Trumpeter in 1/32 WIP RFI (Watch this space 👀) Martian Warrior by Moebius 🛸🐄 scale debatable. WIP RFI (Watch this space 👀) And thats it for that year. Not loads but what there was carried me through. Thanks to everyone who helped and Heres to 2025 being a better year. *spoilers!! (It is already gearing up to be a good un) Telford booked. A visit to the Bomber museum in the calendar and already a meet up with these hot gents at the midland air museum @Fritag @CedB @81-er @Terry1954 @perdu @Tomoshenko in order of appearance. Thanks for a great day and for the unexpected gift. A build is in the pipe. You heard it here first. Onnwards and upwards. Johnny. 4 4
Keeff Posted June 7 Posted June 7 In consideration of things, you've produced some excellent work Johnny! My favourite has to be the Alien 👽 .... colourful and different! It's a joy to follow your builds (and nick a few tops along the way!) and watch them come together ..... and somehow influence you to wander into the AFV section ..... Keep up the good work! Keith ☺️ 1

corsaircorp Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Hello John... Better late than never... Great year in modelling whatever... I particularly like the P-40 and the Martian !! I hope that the other problems are now fixed !! Sincerely. CC
Whofan Posted June 10 Posted June 10 You might be a bit late - though come to think of it no-one says June is too late do they? But quality always shines through! And you've got quality all round in those builds, and I have to confess that I couldn't help smiling at the Martian!
