PanDespota Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Hi! I wanted to share a gallery of my recently finished model. The plane in the markings of the machine flown by Oblt. Ludwig Franzisket from 1./JG 27 in Africa. I added barrels from Master in the wings. Below are a few photos. 55 10 8
Andrés S. Posted May 13 Posted May 13 A top-notch job, with paintwork and the effects of dirt and wear deserving of the highest praise. I loved it; it's truly inspiring and worthy of reference for future models. Congratulations !!! Andrés. P.S.- A WIP would have been very interesting. 2 1
Phil1960 Posted May 13 Posted May 13 👍I don’t know how it could possible to reach such a master result in 1/72 scale! Superlative 109! ciao Filippo 1 1
Vultures1 Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Very nice work! That's an amazingly high standard of finish, especially in 1:72 scale 1
georgeusa Posted May 13 Posted May 13 The quality of your painting and weathering is just superb. An excellent 109. Thanks for sharing. 1
72modeler Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Yowzah! Museum quality in all respects, and looks ,more like a 1/48 kit; the SH Emils are the class of the field in God's Own Scale, in my opinion. Outstanding weathering and colors. Mike 1
PanDespota Posted May 14 Author Posted May 14 (edited) Thanks for the comments. The Bf 109 model from SH is fantastic. I liked it so much that I bought another one in the 'Hit and run riders' version. It has a great paint scheme of the yellow 10 from JG54. And below is my small collection of Bfs. AZ Model (also Franzisket but from 1944), Special Hobby and Airfix. Edited May 14 by PanDespota 2 1
tompiki_scalemodels Posted May 15 Posted May 15 This is an absolutely outstanding piece of work! In this scale I think this is the top tier modelling. Clean build and very convincing weathering. This model is a great inspiration for me, thanks.🤩 1
kapam Posted May 15 Posted May 15 A stunning build! I kept going back to check the scale! The fine detail and subtleties of finish suggest something larger than 1/72. Awesome skills! 😳👌 1
Mals Way Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Very very nice builded, painted and weathered in this scale...and very balanced, not to much or to little, not to often i see this in 1:72 scale. 1
Herb Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Superb! It's nice to see those distinctive Luftwaffe yellow markings with a realistic tone and hue! And great photography, too! 1
Mig88 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 A stunner indeed! great work on the finish and weathering. Miguel 1
Eagle57 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Really nice artistic! As already said it doesn't look like 1/72. Very realistic! Congratulations!!! 1
Farmerboy Posted May 18 Posted May 18 So very impressive, the subtle paint work and detail is really amazing, great work! 1
Sky Keg Posted May 18 Posted May 18 It`s perfect!!! I will use this as an excellent example to try and replicate the always complex Luftwaffe camouflage schemes. I like how it turned out. Mike 1
