Piotr Sudnik Posted May 4 Posted May 4 In the Battle of Grunwald/Tannenberg in 1410, three banners took part under Leliwa's banner. They were the banners of the brothers: Jan of Tarnów (voivode of Kraków) and Spytek of Jarosław, and Wincenty of Granów (castellan of Śrem and starost of Greater Poland). My knight with his aides will represent Wincenty of Granów. The Perry Miniatures set allows you to make only a few knights, whose armament and appearance match the early 15th century. 28 mm figures are a completely different matter than 54 mm, let alone 75 mm or 90 mm. I will try other techniques for painting horses, including dry brush. We'll see what comes of it. For now, I have painted the shields and started painting the horses. Best regards, Piotr 8

Shotandshell Posted Saturday at 12:58 PM Posted Saturday at 12:58 PM Hi Piotr. Those shields are fab. Seeing them done, it is very easy to forget how small they are. The horses are also coming along very nicely. The drybrushing is working very well, particularly in the neck and muzzle areas. Seems your experiment’s working! Portsmouth FC? Who would’ve guessed……..?😅 1

The photo probably has a bit too much contrast. 1
