Airbusboy Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Hello all Have just started playing around with Eduard's "Eddie the Riveter" single riveting rows in 1/72.. And I must say that I'm pretty unimpressed. The 3D decal rivets go on okay (not onto the final model) as per the instructions, but the carrier film dries horrendously thick and conspicuous. Unlike the HGW rivet decals, the carrier film doesn't appear to be peeled off when dry, so you're left with a nice row of 3D decals almost sitting on a 'plateau' of carrier film. I've tried to remove the decals from the main sheet by cutting as close to the rivets as possible, but then due to the final width being so incredibly narrow, they almost disintegrate. Just wondering if anyone has used them and has any tips they'd like to share ? Regards Gary
