zebra Posted April 19 Posted April 19 The orange Canberras operated in Germany were a pretty common sight at British airshows in the 80s - I remember seeing them at Fairford. I'll be building an AMP 1/72 Canberra B.2 in this scheme, using a Model Alliance decal sheet I've had in the stash for ages. Here's the kit and decal sheet: I'll get started soon. 10 1
modelling minion Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Great choice of subject Julian, any Canberra is always welcome in a GB but an orange Luftwaffe one is even more so. I do remember seeing these at shows occasionally and have seen the one preserved at Gatow so I'm very much looking forward to seeing this one Julian. 1
81-er Posted April 19 Posted April 19 It's great to see another Canberra here, Julian, and a nice choice of scheme for it too James 1 1
Col. Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Cool one appeared at a Lossiemouth airshow back in the 80s and was a striking addition to the flightline of otherwise camouflaged machines. 1
