Speaking of which, I’m reliable informed he’s joining with his own eggy goodness in plastic form. I wonder where he got that from??

1hr15min, has cockpit parts clipped, tidied, and primed, along with the same for the missiles. Air dams glued into top fuse.

I thought I had more pictures, I started at 1300 today after more life admin. Seats and cockpit painted, all fuse bits joined, held to help the fit and off to be primed. Time off now as it dries.

So another couple of hours tinkering and this is where I leave it today. 

Body has been painted Tamiya Haze Grey, I touch too dark, especially with the white nose. Hopefully after decals and a Matt coat with some weathering it will look about right.

Drying under some Tamiya clear gloss. Tomorrow is decals, weathering, missiles and u/c.

I’m calling this done. There’s still a few details to add and an awful lot of stencil decals for an egg plane. 

I have just realised that the seats haven’t been added yet, , luckily the canopy is not fixed so I can add some ejection handles and fix the seats when the stencils are completed. The old eyes can’t take anymore, even with @nimrod54 special modelling specs.

Final Countdown Cutie, very nice work! The later eggplane kits somehow beat the original Hasegawa ones, IMO.
