JohnR_TX Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Gents, I'd like to share some tools for paint handling that I use in my day job that interferes with modeling all too often. Anyway, dealing with paint going into and coming out of the airbrush is one of the bigger pains of the hobby in my opinion so I thought to repurpose some of my work tools to make paint life easier. Instead of laboriously reinventing the wheel, I will (if such is allowed) go ahead and link to my post on another site which contains info and links to these tools which I hope will make life easier for you when it comes to all things paint. One of the bigger benefits is allowing you to store custom paint mixes for an extended period so you don't have to remix every time you need them. Since I mostly use Tamiya paints (with an occasional Gunze/Mr. Hobby foray) I personally have found the paint mixes on Replikator to be quite good, though some of the RLM mixes don't look quite right. Anyway, let me know if you find this useful or have any questions after reviewing the info. I can personally vouch for how much less messy it all makes dealing with paint. https://www.scalemates.com/profiles/mate.php?id=118183&p=albums&album=90405
