17 hours and 20 minutes of clock-time in, and it's done. Admittedly, that time included a lot of walking around the park, eating meals, cleaning the kitchen, and a few interminable waits for various substances to be dry enough to continue modelling.  Anyway, here's my Spitfire Mk.I PR Type C.  Airfix kit with Pavla resin parts and decals.  Other than the canopy, which was unusable and replaced, the Pavla parts are very good.  No blemishes that I could find, and very easy to fit.  The Airfix plastic parts gave me more trouble than the resin.

1/72 Hasegawa P-51D Mustang

Actual build time at the bench or outside painting, about 9 hrs. 46 minutes. Obviously, that was not including eating, bathroom, sleeping, etc. Not too much drying time, as I use lacquers which dry super fast. Small parts count REALLY helps! Good fitting kit, almost no filler at all. No details, no aftermarket. I don't add wire- out here in the desert, they're just magic dust collectors.

The Fury is done. An hour outside Superhero status, but done non the less. Result!

A smooth enough build as long as I didn't get distracted by going back to correct the many flaws. It's a back of the cabinet build, but still OK for the cabinet rather than the bin. I enjoyed the build a lot.

Here's my SE5a in the guise of a Canadian Air Force trainer, post WWI but pre-RCAF. Hence the civilian registration. I like this scheme. The profile had aluminum dope struts but I did wood struts.

This is an Artiplast 1/50 kit I got free at a show in a baggie. Had moulded in markings, which I had to file off. Missing cabane struts which I ended up making from toothpicks. Short shot grill and engine covers, which I somewhat remedied. Main gun made from tubes to replace a blob that wouldnt fit.

A rough job... but I cut and deflected ailerons, rudder and elevators, and painted all the markings. Paint lift on the markings, unfortunately... probably should've soaked the plastic pieces in soapy water before beginning.

A ship called Dignity

Inspired by the Deacon Blue song.

This is a card model in 1/76.  The boat and dockside are from Scalescenes.com.   The detail bits are mostly resin from various sources on Ebay.

This is my Airfix 1/72 Vampire T.11, built as NZ5710 of No. 14 Sqn., Royal New Zealand Air Force. Not the build I'd originally intended to be in here, but something across the line at least.

Eduard Fokker Dr.1

A very late start from me, just pulled it in with a quick and scrappy build. The decals are still drying.......

Airfix 1/72 scale Eurofighter Typhoon, built in 12 hours - so quick I haven't had a chance to post a build thread yet. That will have to wait until tomorrow.
