Pipers at the gates.....

Following on from my entry into theGive Peace a chance GB here are all my other Piper aircraft .

 

At top depicts PA-28 -140 G-BBID the one i have flown in.

The Aztec and the two smaller Cherokees are Aurora. The Airfix Cherokee Arrow and KP Pa-18 Super Cub. The cub is depicting the one I flew in back in 1973

These look great, it’s nice to see some civvie stuff, especially the lighter general aviation aircraft. I keep checking eBay for a Cherokee but as it’s so tiny I’m not willing to pay the daft asking prices! Hopefully it might be one of Airfix’s future ‘vintage classics’.

What a lovely collection, like them all, but I'm especially taken by the Aztec, my favourite G.A. twin!

I actually saw (and heard) a REAL Aztec fly over only a few days ago. They are getting a bit rare these days.

Really big fan of Pipers and I’d like to say great work. Are you by chance a Pink Floyd fan judging by that title.
