2Step Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Both seem to be ready for pre-order now (Although I read that Revell for example only is scheduled for release like in November ...). Has anyone yet any opinion which would be the preferred kit of the two - and based on what? I am pretty happy with newer Revell kits. I did not get something from Airfix in a pretty long time, I believe some years ago the Bedford truck for 1/48 scale - also good. So, now I am wondering which Artemis would be the better one ... Cheers
Michael Morris Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I have the Airfix one on pre-order simply because it was the first one announced. No way of telling which will be better until they are both out.
2Step Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 (edited) ok, first of all I just realized that I put this question under SciFi. My bad, I did NOT do it because of the rumors that the program will be cancelled due to the costs. I know it is hard to give an opinion without much detail being released yet on either kit. The only things I found were the number of kit parts (79 Airfix vs. 90 Revell) and the skill level (3 vs 4) (which is also based on the no. of parts). Revell being the cheaper one, Airfix 44€ vs 38€ pre order price), Airfix being a gift set might explain why it is a bit more expensive, assumingly with paint and glue. I just was wondering if anybody had a bit more info.... And if a moderator wants to move this post over to real space - I am not sure if or how I could do that. Cheers Edited April 4 by 2Step typo, clarification
