I think I may have volunteered for the impossible, but we'll attempt to keep track here of the different Mosquito Marks being attempted in this GB.

It would be a great help if builders can include mark, scale, kit manufacturer in either their thread title or tags.

Anyway, heer goes.

As of 22:00 17th March 2025 we have

Updated 18th March to include specific a/c serial or identifier if declared

Updated 23rd March   (22 statements of intent of which 17 threads started)

Updated 27th March    (30 ssoi, 25 threads) looking good!

Updated 29th March    (32 ssoi, 26 threads) ....and the flag has dropped to start the fun!

Updated 30th March   (35 ssoi, 29 threads. )

Updated 1st April    [not foolish ]     (38 ssoi, 32 threads)

Updated 5th April       (40 ssoi, 33 wips )

Updated 12th April   (41 ssoi, 35 wips)

Updated 17th April     (44 ssoi, 38 wips)

Updated 20th April    (43 ssoi, 39 wips)  this due to a couple of changes of intent 😁

Updated 26th April    (46 ssoi, 42 wips of which 4 are complete)

Updated 3rd May      (44 wips of which 5 are complete)*

[Apologies. Haven't quite figured out how to link to the exact finished model in the Gallery as it's all one thread, so you will probably have to scroll until you find the particular model. :sorry: ]

[* - for simplicity I've removed the "Statements of Intent" ssoi from the totals.  I think I'd made a couple of mistakes and it was confusing me, let alone anyone else!     3 may 2025]

Hope that helps

For the thread title, will do, as I does it everytime

Maybe you could add in this listing only the aircraft id, maybe the serial and the code, but at least the unit?

I mean, I've decided myself over what I'll build, that is a BOAC Mossie PR, G-AGFV. But I've seen that @JWM has already declared another BOAC bird, this time an FB.VI.  I'll PM him to know which camo he choose, so that I'll set myself on a different one.

Thanks Antoine @Antoine, I'll see what I can do.  I will always encouage "self-help" and full marks to you for communicating with @JWM to coordinate your approaches.

I was trying to keep the list as simple as possible.  Some people have decided the mark but not neccessarily the exact serial for their builds.  However, I'll try and incorporate an extra item if the info is available.

cheers

So mine will be G-AGGG. Some BOAC Mosquito were converted from B IV, some from FBVi. Mine is from FBVI.

Scheme is a TSS: EDSG/DSG over sky bottom.

Hi, JW

That's perfectly fine with me, and in this case; I'll go for a late camo of DSG/EDSG with Night belly. I'll confirm in my build report.

By the way, I've tried to reach you by MP yesterday, but I had a return telling me that you were unable to receive them. Maybe it's a simple case of your inbox being full?

Hi Rob,

It was just a suggestion, I do not intend to run the whole show. Do whatever you want if you feel its right.

HK 1/32 BXI kit converted to a PR XVI

Sitting in my basement with two 1/32 kits and a hoard of 1/48 Tamiya kits.

Pulled out the HK kit and decided I was going to do an in-flight PRU blue OOB build of the 1409 squadron markings provided.

Looking over the clear parts I see they have the PR upper blown glass observers bubble. I thought…that’s for a PR XVI. Then I see they still have the antenna mast on the sprue. And the long wire antenna…and at least two holes covered up on the bomb bay doors. I figure I can drill some holes, scratch some cameras and I’m pretty darn close to a PR XVI.

Anyone out there make a 1/32 Gee box?

Cheers

Collin.

Sound like it should be an interesting build. Can’t help with the Gee box though, sorry. Good luck Collin.

On second thought…still sitting here in my basement, maybe I’ll just do M5-Q with a big belly and a cookie.

looks like she had two whip antennas per the instructions. One’s a Gee antenna out of the rear canopy…any idea what the second whip is for out of the same hole as the fixed antenna mast?

Cheers

Can you add 1 more NF please. I’m going to be stupidly ambitious and go for co-host and 2 simultaneous builds 🤣
