komoras Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Quote E-day has always been largely about new products, especially premieres. This year, the 48th scale MiG-21F-13 will premiere at E-day. You already know that, but we are working on other projects, and if everything goes well, two more kits may premiere at the event. I won't reveal them to you just yet, but I won't keep you waiting until October either. As soon as we are sure that we can finish these projects on time, we will present them before E-day while meeting modelers in Prague and Prostejov. According to the newest Info Eduard, two new kits may premiere on this year's E-day. (No scale mentioned) My assumption is the Ju 87 and the Me 262 (Avia S-92), but it could always be a Spitfire! I remember that Mr Shultz also talked about doing a 1/72 version of their every 1/48 project so far. Therefore the Zero and the P-51B/C are also an option here. What are your thoughts? 1
CH-53D Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) I'll keep my fingers crossed for a 1/72 Spitfire Mk.XII, but won't hold my breath. Edited March 6 by CH-53D 1 1
Denford Posted March 6 Posted March 6 'Logically' 1/72 Spitfires should continue into V series and later. Did mention at Telford not to forget that Spitfires sent to North Africa had enlarged Main Radiator (also used on Xll) Oil cooler and (often missed out by 'others') Oil Tank. Quite noticeable with Aboukier filter. 1
352nd Fighter Group Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I will be Happy to what ever thay are Hawker Tempest V/MK.II or F4F-4 FM-2 Wildcat

The thoughts are that once again we have another thread making a sensation out of a statement with nothing new in it. They will not create anything out of thin air and reading Eduard Info regularly is enough to know the status of plans and production. At the moment the only new tool project that has most of the parts ready is the Bf 109K-4 in 1/72 and that is the best candidate for release on Eday 2025. Another one are P-40 variants targeted for Telford which can be released earlier. Spitfire V? Mould cutting hasn't even started, but theoretically there's a chance they'll make it in time. And that would be the ‘if everything goes well’ part. Ju 87? There is not even a 3D design ready. Me 262? Not in the plans at all so far. Given the regular testing Eduard might as well release something Czech, for example they have had the project of the two-seater Z-37 Cmelak ready for several years. 1
TEXANTOMCAT Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Ooh maybe they’ll give a series of clues/ have a quiz 🤦♂️ 🙂 TT 1 1

What else are we expecting in the interim in terms of Bf109s? Gustav Pt.4 of course, which I'd think we will see soon. I'd also expect G-6/AS and G-14/AS individual weekend edition and/or profipack releases at some point Just another thought, what's the state of the Blaník? I'd be keen to get hold of at least one on release
Karearea Posted March 6 Posted March 6 One of the other P-40 variants? I’ve lost track of the release sequence but I vaguely remember the P-40F was next (which I would be pretty excited for). 1 2

If I had to choose a 109 to like, it would probably be the 109K-4, so that suits me! 👍 John
Overflow Posted March 6 Posted March 6 This is getting tiresome to the extreme, please announce what you plan or on the other hand do not say anything until kit release is imminent. 9 1

tony.t Posted March 8 Posted March 8 "E-day has always been largely about new products, especially premieres. This year, the 48th scale MiG-21F-13 will premiere at E-day..." Really looking forward to the Fishbed C. Realising that the Czech markings will be given priority, but hoping it comes with NMF Finnish or camouflaged Arab markings with an optional clear rear canopy section over the fuel pipes. Tony 1
