Should arrive in a couple of weeks but I do need to finish the scimitar. So I'll be blowing the cobwebs off this from page 4 😅

Well, I've just ordered mine ....

That guy, Nick owns Tanks-a-lot in Northamptonshire (and does a great tank driving day) has a huge collection of military vehicles that he buys and sells. It is a shame the Stolly's mainly reside in the hedges though!

There's plenty of reference material on the tube. I even found a large scale RC Stolly.

This guy buys and sells them and has some in his field. Along with plenty of stories. Good interior close ups for you too.

Yep I've seen that the other night. Crying shame since he was wittering on about what good condition they were in! Mr Hewes has a few vids on his as well.

😂 Probably don't blame you. Might be able to add some details from the AA onto the airfix. Question is, was the crane version the same as the airfix with just the crane bolted on? 🤔

I haven’t got the crane version mate and yes I should be able to use the etch hopefully🤞this is what will be going on the back if the dimensions of both kits match

My local drug dealer model supplier still says April but there isn't much of April left. I wonder if we end up with a race to see who can get one and built it first 😜

A couple of weeks back Jadlam were listing it as June/July, it's now listed as June.

Hopefully if I give it another week it'll be May ...

Guess where I pre-orderd mine from ...

For those waiting (impatiently, like me) for the Stolly to arrive, Jadlam said in their Saturday news email:

The Alvis Stalwart and the TR.9 Spitfire are both due to arrive toward the end of June, with UK container arrivals expected mid-month

Noooooo, I want mine now!!!!! :crying:

Ordered mine from Jadlams.

As an aside - I used to own the real thing, an FV622.  Great fun to drive.  We took part in the 2007  pageant in London to mark the moving of the Horse Guards museum from Windsor to Horse Guards Parade.  Army dropped off the LET's at Chelsea barracks and as the last LET rolled out the gates the RSM came charging up demanding to know why we were there.  Turned out we should have gone to Wellington barracks and then had to drive there in convoy under police escort.  Going past Harrods the pavements were packed with people watching and the sounds of B80's and B81's were echoing off the buildings.  Hell of an experience!! 😀

Night of the Pageant we'd been told the Met had tbrown tbeir rattle out the pram and demanded they control movemements.  Absolute zero knowledge of what they were controlling but hey....

We pulled out of Wellington barracks up Birdcage Walk towards Horse Guards Parade where we were to turn left into Horse Guards Road.  As we approached the turn the designated Met Officer was indicating we should start turning. My mate was in the commanders seat thought this funny as we'd have wiped out the pedestrians if we had.  The he told me over the intercom we had another  copper on our right acting like he had St Vitus dance jumping up and down waving his arms. We had no idea why, I started the turn into Horse Guards Road and as I did there was a flash of red in the very bottom of the right side cab window, I lifted off the tbrottle - and a glass roofed Rolls Royce apeared from under the front glacis with Prince Harry in the back seat staring back at us with a horrified look on his face.  That was a literal near miss!!!

Lined up waiting for the LET's

Just before the red RR came flying down the righthand side....
