Built this for a good mate who has moved into a retirement place, in Liberator Cresent, NSW and whose dad worked in the RAAF Wagga. Happy with the metal finish - Xtreme Metal by AK 87 17 3
Ash Pitcher Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Bloody hell! Top work there. Love the look you've achieved with the AK Extreme Metal finish. Have to put that on the list I think. Congrats, that's an outstanding build. 1
TheyJammedKenny! Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Now that is outstanding work, every millimeter of it! Did you borrow the U-shaped aerial behind the ADF football from another kit? 1

MrB17 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Very nice work indeed. Your mate must be thrilled with it. I recently purchased some AK extreme metal, but haven’t tried it yet. Your fine work has put the bee in my bonnet. Cheers Jeff 1

georgeusa Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Just a great metal finish with all the tonal variations that play together quite well. Wonderful work and thanks for sharing. Your friend should really appreciate the work and effort you put into this kit.
MOK61 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Fantastic work. Seriously impressive finish. I had to keep scrolling back to the top to check the scale. Congratulations!
Lightningboy2000 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Wow! That's a rather dazzling Liberator! Very nice to see & there's definitely been a lack of B-24's completed on here over the past few years. Very nice to see. Martin
Sky Keg Posted February 26 Posted February 26 That`s a great result because I have built this exact same kit and I know that nose section is very difficult and challenging and you have it looking perfect. The AK paints are excellent and this is one to be very proud of. Congratulations!!!!! Mike
bigbadbadge Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Fantastic Liberator and what an amazing paint finish. Great work Chris
Acinonyx Jubatus Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Absolutely gorgeous natural metal finish, I love it, thanks for sharing
David H Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Beautiful job! Just handling that thing, while applying the bare metal finish could not have been easy. -d-
Karearea Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Really beautifully built and finished. Very convincing materials. Bravo!
Eagle57 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I really like the coloring and the weathering, Congratulations!!!
