Popular Post mathy Posted February 23 Popular Post Posted February 23 Hello, One of the latest Airfix new tools is this Bristol Bulldog Mk.II in 1:48. Nice kit with fine details, used a Xtradecal sheet for No 56 Sqn markings, Eduard PE`s and Brassin (wheels and guns) and the 3D-printed engine by SBS models. 61 1 8 1 6

keithjs Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Excellent! And that SBS engine makes all the difference. I'll be using one on my next build.

28ZComeback Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I particularly like what you did with the olive drab on the upper fuselage. So subtle but so noticeable.

Noel Smith Posted April 1 Posted April 1 (edited) I'm not an aircraft modeller, but there are some subjects out of my ball park that pique my interest every now and again. I have always had a liking for the Bristol Bulldog ever since first seeing a picture of it in a book ' When I were a lad!' The model featured here can only be described as a fabulous build. Given how recent the kit is I was quite surprised to learn about the number of different after market items available already and used to great advantage to enhance this model and put it into another league altogether. Absolutely superb ! Edited April 1 by Noel Smith
gazza l Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Really nice result, the exhaust painting and weathering is particularly impressive. Gary
Richard S Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) Beautiful model, could do with a few more pictures though! Edited April 11 by Richard S Punctuation

Lord Riot Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Outstanding! Absolutely stunning looking model that, such great detail. Everything looks good in 56 sqn markings too!
