Ryan Hothersall Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (edited) Its that timer of year again for the members of the South Australia Plastic Modellers Association where we exchange unwanted kits with each other at the December meeting and aim to have them built for the February meeting which is the first meeting for the new year, so this is what I ended up with. First biplane I have tackled... Not a bad build, generally fitted ok. Wing struts were a bit fiddly, but a couple of parts were fed to the morbidly obese floor monster. Overall SMS PL179 grey with SMS PL02 white on wingtips and rudder. There was a bit of silvering on the kit decals, but apart from that there was no other issues. Sky Keg Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Ha Ryan!!!!! You surprised me by building not only a WW2 subject that has a propeller but one that has more than a single, unswept wing!!!! That sounds like a fun event that you and your club have together with the unwanted kits. Great job!!!!! Mike
Knight_Flyer Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Looks like a neat model to build and a nice scheme. I can see what you mean by the struts being difficult - starboard forward one is detached from wing... just needs gluing back on and job done.
