2026 Spanish Civil War GB?

Hi everyone, 

 

has anyone considered a Spanish Civil War GB for 2026 yet? Skipping through the past GB, I could not find any taking place in the last years and it happens to be the 90th anniversary of its beginning next year. 

 

Regarding ground forces, it offers not only opportunities for Spanish nationalist and republican troops, but all the foreign forces involved as well. AFV-wise, the conflict offers opportunities for early Italian, German, Russian, Polish and French tanks and artillery, e.g. T-26. BT-5, FT-17, BA-64, PzKpfW I with different armaments. 

 

For military aircraft modelers, you have those interwar choices, some of which looked outdated already (Ar68, Breguet XIX, He51, CR32 to name a few), but also some early utilization of aircraft seen more often during the war to come, like Ju-87, Bf109, He-111, Polikarpov, SM-79 etc. 

 

I am not a maritime modeling enthusiast, but maybe there are also options to cover the "Espana", the "Canarias", the battle of Cape Spartel, the amphibian assault on the Balearic islands or German U-boat operations.

Yes please …. I need a few more types, not brave enough to do a Roden He.111 early type. Though maybe a Ju.87 Anton or possibly a Heinkel He.51 would be up for it.
