Manueljb Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Hello everyone! I'm Manuel and I come from beautiful Bern in Switzerland. Since I was a small child, I have always been passionate about aviation. That didn't happen by chance it's because my father has always been enthusiastic about aviation and is also a gifted model maker. My main interest lies in general aviation. I am particularly entusiastic about the classic sports aircraft of the last century. Apart from a few exceptions like some military trainers, there are unfortunately only relatively few model kits of such aircraft in scale 1:72, and when they do exist, they are either difficult to get or are flawed in terms of their overall form. That's why I'm not only building normal kits but also started to create my own handmade kits. I'm for exemple building a Jodel DR-250/160 Capitaine which will be the first model of the 5th generation of my hand made models. If interested you can find some classic sportplane spotting in Switzerland on my JetPhotos profile which is also called Manueljb. I would be happy to post a result from time to time and also share in my process. There are definitely some good ideas and suggestions here too. I'm looking forward to getting to know the forum and browsing through it! Kind regards Manuel 6

Corsairfoxfouruncle Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Hello Manuel … from somewhere across the pond and bit of the continent from you in Chicago USA. Personally I’m mostly a military aircraft builder, though will take on the odd piece of armor or the occasional ship now. I’ve been building since 1979 and nothing really makes me want to stop. I’ve slowed down in the last couple of years from health issues but thats about it. Dennis
Watto Posted February 4 Posted February 4 "Ay up" Manuel, welcome to the forum from Derbyshire in the middle of the UK. 🍻 Watto.
