Popular Post Andy I Posted February 2 Popular Post Posted February 2 XM607 created from the original Airfix kit (I bought the kit and extra decals long before Airfix brought out their own Blackbuck version!) Extra details in the bomb bay and crew access are loosely based on XJ823 at Duxford. The bombs hide most of the extra detail so may just leave them out. Just the Valiant to do... 79 6 3
Billy54 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Very nice build I like it and I am impressed with the detail of the bomb bay.thank you for sharing your images.
Ad-4N Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Breath taking! The bomb bay is master work! I just tried my hand at scratch building a 1/72 Neptune landing gear bay (a combination of photos and ad lib) so I know the work involved. Plus you re-scribed the beast! First rate, lad.
TheyJammedKenny! Posted February 3 Posted February 3 That's gorgeous! The amount of work you put into the bomb bay is simply breathtaking!
Tomcat101 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Beautifully built and painted. I built a Vulcan last year and loved it. I would do another in a minute. Well done.
Lord Riot Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Looking good! I did something similar in the bomb bay in one of my Vulcans, it certainly makes a difference.
Pete in Lincs Posted February 4 Posted February 4 A brilliant result. Great bomb bay. Is that the issue with the very brittle plastic? It was a nightmare. I had to reinforce the wings with the empty sprues!
bryanm Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Superb - puts my ancient and much-repaired one to shame! Nice Victor as well.
Gimme Shelter Posted February 5 Posted February 5 very nice - I just love the Vulcan. looks nice up against the Victor too. your bomb bay is impressive
Sky Keg Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Excellent pair of V Bombers with the Vulcan as the primary interest. Very nice. Mike
Davetur Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Excellent Vulcan! It reminds me of the noisy takeoffs at the Royal International Air Tattoo. The amount of noise was quite incredible, considering it came from four non-afterburning engines! Cheers Davide
