spruecutter96 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Following Lynch's recent death, I thought it was time I watched all of his films that I'd not previously viewed. Bought Mulholland Drive on Amazon. Oh, dear... What a boring, tedious, often poorly-acted movie. I got about two-thirds of the way through and just switched it off (won't be going back to it). Life's just too sort for this kind of movie, IMHO. I fully appreciate that Lynch was not the conventional director, but this one was self-indulgent pap. The lack of explanation for most of the events started to grate, very early on. I thought that some of the performances were "sub-amateur dramatics" standard. Maybe it was just part of the Art? What do other folks think on this one? Chris.
