I don't build Luft.'46 aircraft!! The German jets are the closest I get, with the He162 probably coming first, the aircraft seeing very little action with the Luftwaffe.

I have two kits of the He162, Trimaster  and Tamiya. I built these kits side by side, this is the Trimaster build which was quite straight forward. This was the Trimaster version without the engine. I used the Aires resin set for the cockpit and replaced the main u/c bay with that from the Tamiya kit, the Falcon vac-form canopy was also used.

Finish is 81/82/76, AK Real Colours used.

The machine represented was Red 7, W.Nr.310005, Leck, Germany, May1945 (source Classic Publications):-

Please take a look at part 2 of this build, the Tamiya kit, thanks.

The Tamiya kit is probably your best bet, their usual quality!

Outstanding pair of Salamanders you have built there.  Both look great.  Thanks for sharing.
