andyh59 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I don't build Luft.'46 aircraft!! The German jets are the closest I get, with the He162 probably coming first, the aircraft seeing very little action with the Luftwaffe. I have two kits of the He162, Trimaster and Tamiya. I built these kits side by side, this is the Trimaster build which was quite straight forward. This was the Trimaster version without the engine. I used the Aires resin set for the cockpit and replaced the main u/c bay with that from the Tamiya kit, the Falcon vac-form canopy was also used. Finish is 81/82/76, AK Real Colours used. The machine represented was Red 7, W.Nr.310005, Leck, Germany, May1945 (source Classic Publications):- Please take a look at part 2 of this build, the Tamiya kit, thanks. Cheers Andy 19

georgeusa Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Outstanding pair of Salamanders you have built there. Both look great. Thanks for sharing. 1
