pierre Giustiniani Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) Hi gents, First of all: Happy new year !! The ki-84 issued by Arma Hobby is really a pleasure to build; no traps and perfect fit. The model has been riveted. Painted with MR Color Super metallic SM01. Representation of an aircraft belonging to the 10 Rensei Hikotai (Operational Training Unit), Spring 1945. Salutations Pierre Edited January 13 by pierre Giustiniani 49 12 1
Andrés S. Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Excellent work. It's a little gem that makes me want to buy one... Congratulations !!! Andrés.
JackG Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Great finish and impressive results conveying the metallic appearance.
Toryu Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Your Hayate looks fantastic in NM. Very fine finish! All the details and colours appear accurate. The yellow tank is a bit questionable but generally accepted among Japanese aviation enthusiasts. Well done Pierre!
Mycapt65 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Beautiful. I can't believe that's 72nd until I see the paint pot. I love that SM201 btw. Great stuff.
pierre Giustiniani Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 (edited) Thank you very much for your kind words ! I had a doubt for the antenna and the armament as it was a training unit. But everything is in as it was a unit of experimented pilots. So gunsight, guns, antenna are installed now. A great kit from Arma Hobby. Tiny but accurate and full of details as a quarter scale kit. Graham Boak Posted January 14 Posted January 14 New pilots still have to be trained in gunnery. You wouldn't use a Ki 84 to learn ordinary flying skills. 1
PATRICK FROM THE SANDS Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Simple mais superbement réalisé! Superb 1/72eme!
François Escudé Posted January 17 Posted January 17 wonderful job here Pierre ! nice rendering of such an elegant plane !👏
Sky Keg Posted January 18 Posted January 18 WW2 Japanese combat aircraft look so good in the natural metal / silver finish accentuated with the colorful insignia and ID bands. Excellent results with this Ki-84. Mike
