Hi gents,

First of all: Happy new year !!

The ki-84 issued by Arma Hobby is really a pleasure to build; no traps and perfect fit.

The model has been riveted. Painted with MR Color Super metallic SM01.

Representation of an aircraft belonging to the 10 Rensei Hikotai (Operational Training Unit), Spring 1945.

Salutations

Pierre

Your Hayate looks fantastic in NM. Very fine finish! All the details and colours appear accurate. The yellow tank is a bit questionable but generally accepted among Japanese aviation enthusiasts. Well done Pierre!

Thank you very much for your kind words !

I had a doubt for the antenna and the armament as it was a training unit. But everything is in as it was a unit of experimented pilots. So gunsight, guns, antenna are installed now.

A great kit from Arma Hobby. Tiny but accurate and full of details as a quarter scale kit.

Hi Pierre,

Don't worry too much about it, as most of the training units did have their instructors teamed up in a fighting unit to deal with B-29 and USN raids on the home islands.

WW2 Japanese combat aircraft look so good in the natural metal / silver finish accentuated with the colorful insignia and ID bands.  Excellent results with this Ki-84.  :coolio:
