Kagemusha Posted January 12 Posted January 12 All 1/32, it's a fantasy list, so why not? Sea Harrier FRS.1 Harrier GR.3 Harrier T.4 E.E. Lightning F.6 Canberra Jaguar Blenheim Phantom FGR.2 Beaufighter 2

The Frightening would not be outside the bounds of possibility, it would have a smaller shelf footprint than their 1/24 Mosquito. As I've said before, a 1/24 Hawk would fit the bill rather well: British Iconic Multiple operators in all sorts of interesting schemes therefore broad appeal Small enough even in 1/24 for a couple to not take up too much shelf space From reading the threads, the concept of a 1/48 Lightning retool is interesting, but would they bite with a fairly good one in their range? However a decent new tool 1/48 Tornado or Typhoon is definitely food for thought and would close a market gap. As for the statue as the cryptic clue. - Gloster Gamecock The other questions are just what were scanned at the Ulster Aviation Society and that what four kits are being worked on? From their web page they have the following, so there is some choice. My pick of the probable's in 1/48 are highlighted in blue with the Jag being the odds on favourite as I've heard of other Jags being scanned elsewhere: Phantom FG.1 Tornado GR.4 Buccaneer S.2B Canberra PR.9 Gloster Meteor Jaguar GR.1 Red Arrows Hawk Fouga Super Magister Jet Provost T3A Sea Hawk FB.5 Vampire T.11 Alouette III Puma HC1 Robinson R-22 Sycamore Lynx AH.1 Gazelle AH.1 Scout Wessex HC.2 18A Gyroplane Bulldog T.1 Fairey Gannet Percival Sea Prince Sherpa Jet SB.4 SD3-30 Tucano T.1 Tucano "Enniskillen The Phantom I'm on the fence about it, I would love to see it and if it is true, put me down for a few. The presence of a 1/72 scale version adds weight, but its a high quality bar out there in the Phantom world with Tamiya, ZM and Meng. From the Sea King, they are getting to that bar. I was also tempted to buy a 1/72 JP last week but held off in anticipation of the announcement. Who knows? Well apart from @sniperUK and he is not squealing. Very unlike an ex robert, half a bacon farl in a Sandes and they would normally tell you all sorts. Looks to be a very decent museum. Its on the list to visit next time I'm over there, although it will be strange seeing where I used to live and work as a dog handler is now just overgrown concrete areas. Apart from that there are some interesting suggestions in the threads. Some are left field, some are pretty likely and some are edging towards the damp, breathless, sweaty and strangely sticky territory of the 1/24 Vulcan pests. 3 1 4
Lord Riot Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Fantastic thread, thanks mods! Starting with perhaps the more moderately realistic; 1/48 Jaguar GR.1 1/48 Sea Harrier FRS.1 1/48 Jet Provost T.3 or T.5 1/48 Phantom FGR.2 1/72 Victor K.2 reissue And into the realms of fantasy … 1/72 Argosy 1/72 Britannia 1/72 Andover C.1/E.3 1/72 BAe 146 1/48 Whirlwind HAR.10 1/48 Scimitar And the impossible… 1/48 Victor 1/48 Vulcan 1/48 Andover 2

DeHavilland Sea Vixen 2. Gloster Javelin 3. Scottish Aviation Pioneer (no, not the twin, the single). I'd say #3 is the least likely. 4
Aeronut22 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Quote Rebox of Merlin in Navy scheme To make a Mk 4 from the Mk 3 kit will need more than a new set of transfers. Folding tail, folding main rotor head and numerous other small changes would be needed, they might as well start from scratch.
Robert Posted January 13 Posted January 13 As a Cold War guy I would like to see a FAW9 Javelin. FAW1/2 Sea Vixen, Harrier T10/12 and left field a CF-100 all in 1/72, but I know I will be disappointed again. Regards Robert 1
rob Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Always thought a large scale maybe 24th Mallard, or Flying Scotsman, it's not as if they won't have the correct information Or 53rd scale Scrugg's Wonderplane MKV But I'd settle for either a 24th Frightning or Spey Toom....... 1
Cammer625 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Second the 1/72 Lincoln. Last of the British 4-engined (prop!!) heavies. 3
Adam Poultney Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I haven't thought about reissues yet Victor K2/SR2 hopefully with new decals B17 with RAF decals B25 with RAF decals Vulcan with XH558 decals (if so I predict they'll forget about the missing air scoop on the tail!) 1/48 ju87 new decals 1/72 Ju87R 1/72 blenheim night fighter Lancaster bii? Lancaster b.i special new parts would be very nice!! 1
Kyle H Posted January 13 Posted January 13 You could also put me down for a 1/72 Lincoln! Additionally, I'd be happy to see any of these in 1/72: Fairey Firefly FR.1 Avro Anson Mk. I, II, or V (the latter is more likely a Canuck's dream haha) Westland Wasp de Havilland Venom A 1/600 HMS Daring reissue would be nice too. I could go on... but then again there is only so much space and time for new kits! Kyle 3
VMA131Marine Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Here are my guesses: Regular kits 1/24 Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 1/48 Sea Harrier FRS.1/FA.2 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Mk.I 1/48 Westland Wessex 1/72 Avro Anson 1/72 HP Halifax Mk.I/II 1/72 DHC-1 Chipmunk 1/72 Westland Whirlwind Mk.1 1/72 Hawker Hunter F4/5 1/35 Churchill Starter set kits 1/72 EE Lightning F.Mk.1/1a/2 1/72 Fw 190D-9 1/43 Lamborghini Countach 1/43 Jaguar XJ-S 1/43 Ford Lotus Cortina 1/43 VW Type 1 Bus Vintage Classics 1/16 Ariel Arrow 1/32 Ford Escort 1/32 Austin Maxi 1/32 Vauxhall Victor 2000 Estate 1/12 Napoleon (it’s unfortunate that Airfix never did the Duke of Wellington or Admiral Lord Nelson) 1/12 Oliver Cromwell 1/12 Boy Scout 1/72 McDonnell F2H-2/P Banshee 1/72 Douglas F4D Skyray 1/600 RMS Queen Elizabeth 1/600 DKM Scharnhorst 1

The MR2 was released 2015- I’d definitely like one to go with the AEW.2! Or has the market already been satiated? 3
IanC Posted January 13 Posted January 13 My new-tool predictions/guesses: 1/48 Messerschmitt Me 262 1/72 Arado Ar 234 1/72 P-47 Thunderbolt But I'd much rather see: 1/72 Douglas Boston Mk III 1/72 P-61 Black Widow 1/72 Spitfire Mk XIV 1/35 Matilda Mk I 1/35 Churchill Mk (anything but a VII) 3

Stickleback Posted January 13 Posted January 13 A new Boeing B-29 Superfortress in 1/72 to 2025‘s standards would be very welcome (I believe). 2
Ray S Posted January 13 Posted January 13 All the subliminal signs are for a Vintage Classic reissue of the old Kitmaster Fireball XL5 which Airfix boxed a long time ago. The series is on TV now, and a box got shown on a program yesterday. Obviously coordinated by the devious Airfix team I hope the moulds are still around Ray 5
352nd Fighter Group Posted January 13 Posted January 13 1/72 Hawker Tempest MK.II because thay have done the Tempest V & Hawker Typhoon 1
SprueMan Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I would not mind a combo of Sea Harrier and GR.1 Harrier with Falklands decals in 1/48. That would make a handsome “project in a box”
