One 48 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I did see real Rush at Glasgow 2004 at Glasgow for R30 tour, and it was superb, kicking myself for not grabbing the opportunity to see them at R40 too. They will never play live again, for obvious reasons, so thought that was that, but was grateful to have seen them at R30. They were splendid. However, big bands have a habit of sincere tribute acts that are damn good too, following in their footsteps, like Australian Pink Floyd Show were to real Pink Floyd and so on and so forth. I'd become aware of Moving Pictures a while ago, a very good Scottish Rush tribute act, who have some history with the real Rush who are playing Aberdeen this time next week. Really looking forward to it, my memories will come flooding back for sure of R30. Bass Player looks uncannily like Geddy Lee too, love this song, La Villa Strangiato. mid-section is so sublime, it's all good, though. Moving Pictures. 1
