Rafwaffe Posted January 10 Posted January 10 For the GB and my first build of 2025, I’ll be making this 1/72 Hurricane IIC (kit 269 boxed by KP). Markings are undecided at this stage. 11
Wez Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Another Hurricane, what's not to like? I didn't know KP had boxed this one. Welcome and good luck. 1
2996 Victor Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Great to see this one, Alex! Looking forward to watching your build - I bet you'll have some of the best decals in the GB! Cheers, Mark
Rafwaffe Posted February 8 Author Posted February 8 It’s a modest start, but it’s a start nonetheless. Finally found some time tonight to get underway 5
2996 Victor Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Wow, that's looking rather good in a very short space of time. Excellent progress!
Rafwaffe Posted February 19 Author Posted February 19 Finally getting to painting. I can’t resist She’ll be a night fighter. 5 1
Rafwaffe Posted February 21 Author Posted February 21 A few hours of work tonight getting some paint down 7
Rafwaffe Posted June 20 Author Posted June 20 Nothing like an approaching deadline to get you energised… Decals on (at last). Apart from one lost serial number (a post GB fix) piece of cake with the DK Decal set. Just a clear coat to seal it all in once all settled and dry then calling her done. 9
Rafwaffe Posted June 21 Author Posted June 21 (edited) Calling it done. Photo to go up in the Gallery. Thank you to our hosts and everyone for yet another great Groupbuild. I’ve enjoyed this trip down memory lane and never cease to be amazed, inspired and humbled by the incredible builds of other participants. Edited June 21 by Rafwaffe 5 1
stevehnz Posted June 22 Posted June 22 I like the look of this, it goes together well enough from the earlier part of the thread, maybe not Arma but very Hurricane looking. It gives me hope for the one I have in stock to do Keith Parks Malta one. Steve. 1
