Good evening mates,

as I've said in chat topic for this GB, I've started this kit for the 2024 "Baby Boomers" GB, but during summer months got stuck with heat and loss of mojo, so with permission of GB admins I apply it here again, with these photos to show how far did I go so far...

Looks good to me, great to see a Tin Snail in the GB! I think you're within the 25% complete parameters, so you're good to go!

Cheers,

Mark

Great choice Srđan, such a typically French subject (although personally I prefer the later Renault 4).

Welcome and good luck.

I have finally moved a bit with this one.

I've polished car body with Dremel tool and polishing add-on, in order to be as smooth as it can before primer and painting.

Then it came primer - Mr. Surfacer 1000 - it will be sanded/polished in few days.

And while I am waiting for primer to cure, and some more free time to start the "procedure" of sanding/polishing, I've painted canvas (tarpaulin?) roof - I chose Gunze H401, lightened a bit where are folds....

Excellent work! The effect on the fabric roof is extremely good, very convincing!
