stevej60 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Morning folk's none of the builds survive and a lot of previous stuff was lost in the great photobucket debacle of a few years ago but here's what I have a record of,hope it inspires! 18 1
PhantomBigStu Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Mirage IV Mirage III vampire mirage 2000 also done their p-40 but don’t have the photos to hand 16
PhantomBigStu Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Forgot about the lansen and the fact the javelin was a heller tool whilst I was finding the p-40 which I belive Ive painted wrong, went with the later RAAF colours when it should have been in dupont lend lease RAF equivalents 15
theplasticsurgeon Posted January 8 Posted January 8 For @Dermo245, my Mirage IV. And for @Enzo the Magnificent, @Andwil, and @2996 Victor, my bubbletop Spitfire. For @Silver Fox my Sabres, first USAF Then Luftwaffe. For @Snafu35, my Constellation. For @Karearea, my Trojans. For @stevej60, and @gingerbob, my Tempest knocking down a V1. And for @PhantomBigStu, and @Corsairfoxfouruncle my Super Etendard, actually Airfix - but the same tool. For @Ray S, my Airfix Javelin T3 (same as Heller). Rare kit, 'cos Airfix re-engineered the tool for an FAW9. 21 2
MrB17 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Just one from me. Scanned from original photo. Heller 1/72 Lockheed Super H Constellation, Trans Canada Airlines CF-TGH. Aluminium foil and paint, custom decals. Cheers Jeff 14 4
Snafu35 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Thank's @theplasticsurgeon and @MrB17! Mirage IIIC 1/48: This is my only kit designed before 1985 that looks right! Regards, Eric-Snafu35 14 1
Redstaff Posted January 10 Posted January 10 As far as I'm aware, I've only ever built one Heller kit before as most of their subjects don't appeal to me, but as I build Group B rally cars their Peugeot 205 EV2 filled a gap. It is probably one of the worst kits have ever built and the detail was awful. You know you've got a basic kit when there are more decals than parts 🤣 Anyway, it filled a gap and looks ok from a distance Ian 13
stevej60 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hi fo;lks, came across a couple of other past builds of aircraft proposed by some of you for the GB. 13
Rabbit Leader Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Just the two completed Heller kits in the cabinet, however plenty more in the stash! Here’s to a great GB everyone, I’ll see what else I can contribute in good time. Cheers.. Dave 17
TEMPESTMK5 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Good morning My previous Heller kits built Best regards Patrice 13
marvinneko Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Did a Texan/Harvard for the 2024 Blitzenbuild. I enjoyed it a lot. Nice detail but unfortunately raised for some reason. 13
