JOCKNEY Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Another unfinished build from this year's Classic Airfix GB This one is a golden oldie, boxed by Craft Master for the American Market It's had a first coat of Light Grey Green, which whilst looking a rough as a Badgers posterior should look ok after a few more coats. Cheers Pat 11
JOCKNEY Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 2 additional coats of paint and its looking better, hopefully the brush strokes won't be so visible when it drys Cheers Pat 9
JOCKNEY Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 Did I mention it hate masking canopies ? Well this one is no exception And it's going to take a while Cheers Pat 6
jean Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Hi Pat, I am really impressed by the quality of your painting skills. The finish of the light grey is splendid. Not an easy feat to achieve. Well done mate. JR PS: For the masking of the canopy, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and go! 1

Yeah, when we were kids (55+ years ago) my younger brother had one of these. I thought it was one of the best-looking aircraft. So recently I did two of these in a blitz-build, one 1/72 kit as above with very similar boxing/art and one 1/600 scratch-build. Please carry on @JOCKNEY, I'll be watching. Regards, Jeff. 1 1
JOCKNEY Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 Unfortunately looks like the tape has leaked a bit So it out with the cocktail sticks and then it looks like this Cheers Pat 9
