Model Mate Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Great progress! Thrashing a pig’s ear into a silk purse is a fun challenge, and you’re doing a great job. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished grass - nice idea. 1

Cheers Francis 👍 Thank you very much Francis, very kind of you to say. Enjoying it so far. 1
Muchmirth Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 (edited) Now it’s ready for primer: I’ve been playing around with positions for the figures and stowage before final fitment. So theirs a few loose bits here like the mg and ammo box which are just screaming “break me” or “lose me”. The tarp is just a baby wipe soaked in pva. Added a bit of damage to the rubber part of the spare wheel. Gave it all a clean with a fibre glass pencil, debonder, then cleaned with water and soap to prep it for paint. That’s all for now. Thanks for looking in. Paul Edited January 29 by Muchmirth 10
Stef N. Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Brilliant Paul. It just shows what can be done with these old kits. Great figures too. I look forward to the paint job.👍👍

I would be weary of the paint adhesion to the foil? On 27/01/2025 at 19:35, Model Mate said: Great progress! Thrashing a pig’s ear into a silk purse is a fun challenge, and you’re doing a great job.
