pacificmustang Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Fantastic work Ali, and reading through your WIPs provided me with a few hours of enjoyment too Bruce 1
FalkeEins Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 ... you've built all the kits I wanted to and never got round to doing ...must do better. Super work! 1 1

bigbadbadge Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 A great year Alistair, you have been busy. They look fantastic fella . Cracking work have enjoyed watching these come to life. Chris 1 1
keefr22 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 That was a really productive year, and all real qualty builds - stunning work on all of them! And I see you took one for the team for the Lysander Lovers - finishing the pretty awful Gavia kit is obviously why Airfix are now doing one! (my Gavia one will now never again come out of the box I flung it in in disgust many moons ago!!) Don't suppose you have a Hobbycraft 1/48 Vought Cutlass to build? A new tool of one of those is my Holy Grail....!! 🤣 Top modelling year there Alistair! Keith 1 1 1
Lightningboy2000 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Stunning collection from a very productive year by the looks of things. Also nice to see some variety. 1
IanC Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Some very inspiring builds there. The Walrus gets my vote for best in class. 1
Farmerboy Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 What a year you’ve had, stunning work but the Phantoms are the standout builds for me, great job! 1 1
MRMRL Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Wow, that's quite a collection. There's some really interesting and unusual schemes in there, fantastic work. I can't pick a favourite out of that set. 1

Keith Thanks Keith, If it took me struggling through the Gavia kit to get the Airfix Lysander then it's worth it. My pre-order is already in. 7 hours ago, Lightningboy2000 said: Stunning collection from a very productive year by the looks of things. Also nice to see some variety. stevehnz Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 A wonderful line up of wonderfully built models, with your usual wonderful skill set. Did I mention they're a bit wonderful. Steve. 1
JamesP Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Great output. Can’t believe you built two Airfix Phantoms, one was more than enough to put me off. 1
kitchentable Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Wow. That puts most of us to shame. Every one is special, and a joy to look at. Do you tend to add much like PE? I am intrigued how many hours per model you tend to invest. You must achieve these results remarkably quickly. There might be some lessons there. I would like to speed up a bit! 1

That's only two of eight in the planned builds which will make 10 in total. 10 hours ago, kitchentable said: Wow. That puts most of us to shame. Every one is special, and a joy to look at. I would like to speed up a bit! Thanks so much. It depends on the build how much aftermarket goes in. Most are just OOB. We work a 12hr roster at my work so every 4 weeks I get a week of rest days, so things can go together quite quickly. Cheers, Alistair 2
2996 Victor Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Wow, Alistair, I'd lost track of all these A very impressive selection of builds, if I may say so! Looking forward to seeing what you build in '25 Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you and your family! Mark 1 1
