There may be another Phantom finished before the year end, if I get my finger out.

Thanks for looking,

Cheers,

Alistair

That is an impressive collection and all finished to a high standard Alistair  :clap2:

Just one question..... how do you get them all in that breadbin? :hmmm:

Fantastic work Ali, and reading through your WIPs provided me with a few hours of enjoyment too

Bruce

Thanks Bruce.

The threads can be a bit of a roller coaster but I'm glad you enjoyed them.

That was a really productive year, and all real qualty builds - stunning work on all of them!

And I see you took one for the team for the  Lysander Lovers - finishing the pretty awful Gavia kit is obviously why Airfix are now doing one! (my Gavia one will now never again come out of the box I flung it in in disgust many moons ago!!)

Don't suppose you have a Hobbycraft 1/48 Vought Cutlass to build? A new tool of one of those is my Holy Grail....!! 🤣

Top modelling year there Alistair!

Some very inspiring builds there. The Walrus gets my vote for best in class.

Wow, that's quite a collection. There's some really interesting and unusual schemes in there, fantastic work. I can't pick a favourite out of that set.

Thanks Keith,

If it took me struggling through the Gavia kit to get the Airfix Lysander then it's worth it.

My pre-order is already in.

What a year you’ve had, stunning work but the Phantoms are the standout builds for me, great job!

Thanks very much,

Should manage one more Phantom before the year end.

A wonderful line up of wonderfully built models, with your usual wonderful skill set. Did I mention they're a bit wonderful. :)

Wow.  That puts most of us to shame.  Every one is special, and a joy to look at.   Do you tend to add much like PE?  I am intrigued how many hours per model you tend to invest.  You must achieve these results remarkably quickly.  There might be some lessons there.  I would like to speed up a bit!

Great output. Can’t believe you built two Airfix Phantoms, one was more than enough to put me off.

Thanks very much.

That's only two of eight in the planned builds which will make 10 in total. :mental:

It depends on the build how much aftermarket goes in.

Most are just OOB.

We work a 12hr roster at my work so every 4 weeks I get a week of rest days, so things can go together quite quickly.

Incredible Ali!!! your best yet I think. What a one to open with that Canadian cf118? And the Lysander are personal faves amongst them. I also really like the hurc and the foreglore.
all the best,
