Not to complain, but this seems an odd choice, considering that Mikromir has been sitting on plans for a 1/72 Avro York, a much better known design with palpable historic value/impact.

This seems more Steam punk than anything else ? I can see me adding a couple of gun positions one on each wing edge. Adding guns above the torpedo mounts. And just giving it a old and worn out steampunk paint scheme.

As I understand this is rather a speed boat than an aircraft. Mikromir folks have some good taste for proper weirdness :)

This thing would not work well in rough seas. It’s totally bonkers in a cool sort of way.

Unfortunately, for the time being we have abandoned Avro York. Firstly, because the market is saturated with kits from MACH2 and we are unlikely to be able to compete on price (those who wanted this plane for themselves have probably already bought it in 8 years), Secondly, this is a very large-scale project in terms of the amount of work, in our current realities, long projects are too risky. Maybe sometime in the future.

I think it's a paper project speed boat.

But as I googled I came across this

caproni-ca60-transaero-nine-wings-eight-

:analintruder:

Those chaps in Caproni definitely knew l'art de vivre.

So how about the progress in Do 23 and DB 3 F projects? Is there any hope?

Yeah there some confusing naming in the model world. What I really find confusing is those AML, AMP, A&A and some similar brands that use three letters as the name.

There’s another Avro you could do: Avro Manchester!

There goes any hope of a decent WB-57F/RB-57F kit within my lifetime. 💀
