        Hello everyone … This is my 2024 yearbook. As of right now I’m at 15 completed so twice last years 8 builds. I have 4-5 on the bench at this time which stand a very good chance of getting into the yearbook by New year's eve. So I may be editing this thread. Heavy on the USN/USMC and big use of Airfix and Hasegawa kits this year.

A lot of nice builds there!

And nice to see some lesser known countries represented, like the Chilean and Portuguese liveries!

  • Thanks 1

I like to represent alternative users as often as I can. For the very reason’s you have mentioned.

Thanks Stuart I am trying to get busier, my health keeps standing in my way the last couple of years. As of today this is my build count since joining the forum. I’m retired and have zero things to do other than Dr’s visits. The wife shoves me into my office just so I don't annoy her too much.

                      2018 = 19 builds

                      2019 = 30 builds

                      2020 = 38 builds

                      2021 = 22 Builds

                      2022 = 22 Builds

                      2023 = 8 builds

                      2024 = 15 builds

                      ——————————

                    154 builds since 2017

I may have two more to add this year by New years. Im hoping to = or better the 15 build’s for next year.

Nice if you can have that arrangement, not for me yet. An impressive build rate over the years, I need that rate to clear my stash!

Great selection of builds, I do particularly love that early Wildcat in the red-circle scheme, looks very smart in those colours.

Thank you Tim, considering it started life as a -4 kit Im impressed it turned out as well as it did. I replaced the engine, modified the cowling, filled in the wing folds and re-scribed the wings to a -3 spec. to get it where it is.
