Hello everyone … I am presenting my 1/72 Hasegawa F-104J in the markings of the 202nd Hikotai JASDF. The aircraft is in the camouflage referred to as Mountain camouflage in the 1981 & 1982 Fighter weapons meet (there version of Red Flag).

That looks excellent. I'm assembling a Hase F-104 at the moment (albeit an S) and I'll be chuffed if it turns out half as good.

Very different look, well done!

Thank you, I always try to get schemes that will stick out on a shelf. It helps to start conversations about the real deal, anything for a teachable moment.

Great build and a pretty unique scheme - nice job!

Thanks Japanese schemes continue to change and so are so endless supply of options. Just look at Hasegawa and Finemold’s F-4’s and F-15 boxings.
