Giorgio N Posted January 14 Posted January 14 The Invader is a welcome reissue! I was personally hoping for a glass nose variant but I'm happy enough with this one too 1
rotorheadtx Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I was really hoping that Italeri would re-release the Dogs Breakfast as a full-sprue, no-closed-gates moulding. It's not a Chickasaw, it's not a Whirlwind, it's a styrene sales-generator for Adrian Balch's Warpaint #106. That said, it CAN be made into an accurate replica of either/both, but it requires research, and in many cases aftermarket bits. I've built several, including a turbine-nosed HAR.10 conversion, and it IS a nice kit, but Italeri is shooting themselves in the foot by not re-pressing the drooped-boom parts. Mi stai ascoltando, Italeri? 2
IT_Man Posted January 15 Posted January 15 As a purveyor of catalogues, I have spotted that the front cover of Italeri's 2025 offering has appeared here: https://www.models2u.co.uk/contents/en-uk/p20174_Catalogue---Italeri---2025.html I think the only new item on that image not previously announced is the Lancia Fulvia rally car (presumably 1/12 given recent kits in that genre) 2 1
IT_Man Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Not a physical one yet, and I think they announce in the run up to Nuremberg normally?
Caerbannog Posted January 15 Posted January 15 On their website is still the 2024 catalogue. Last years preview was January 25th
Homebee Posted January 17 Author Posted January 17 (edited) Downloadable Italeri 2025 Preview is here: https://www.italeri.com/notizia/842 https://www.italeri.com/uploads/news/9j0qmeXtdnHRXeZu8UGB1ktswD1aACxO51lZzPd0.pdf Quote Dear Friends, we are proud to present a preview of our new kits that we will be launched in 2025. After the success of the Macchi MC.202 “Folgore” and the Macchi MC.205 “Veltro” our range of Italian World War II fighters in 1:32 scale expands with another "superkit": the Macchi MC.200 “Saetta”. Featuring brand-new moulds created with the most advanced design technologies. Two other important news : the renowned MC.202 “Folgore” in the highly requested 1:48 scale and the fifth-generation fighter F-35A Lightning II, in the “Beast Mode” version, also in 1:48 scale. In 2025 we will also release a special line dedicated to the legendary aviation aces, the heroes of the skies of World War II. Our commitment to creating new kits that capture the interest of the modelling community extends to military vehicles as well, with the introduction of the Semovente M43 105/25 “Bassotto” in 1:35 scale. The historic cars line in 1:12 scale, a segment in which Italeri is considered a global reference, will be completed with the Bugatti Type 35B Targa Florio '29/Monte Carlo 1930. An important addition in 1:24 scale is a strongly requested four-wheeled legend: the Lancia Fulvia HF, a real "icon" of off-road competitions. For truck enthusiasts in 1:24 scale, the most important news will be based by kits highly requested by online communities: the Iveco Stralis “S-way” (100% new moulds), the MB Actros Grand Prix Edition and the Volvo FH16 750. We also would like to highlight four selected subjects dedicated to War Thunder, the famous "free-to-play online game," with Special Bonuses included in the kits. These are just some of the new models you can discover in our “Model Kit Collection Preview 2025”, available for download in .pdf format by clicking on "download attachment." This complements Italeri’s greatest strength: a vast selection of scale models with over 600 kits in our catalogue. Thank you, as always, for your support of our work and, above all, happy modelling to all! The aircraft novelties/new moulds programme 2025 isn't - in my opinion - impressive to say the least. Just three new tool a/c kits: 1/32 - ref. 2516 - Macchi C.200 Saetta - thread (already announced in 2024) 1/48 - ref. 2836 - Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II - beast mode - thread 1/48 - ref. 2840 - Macchi MC.202 Folgore - thread V.P. BD757 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Ooh... Will have to bag a 1/72 kc-135r as they have been fetching silly money on that auction site! 1
Overflow Posted January 17 Posted January 17 This has to be by far the worst Italeri catalogue of recent times, century old toolings, no H-21, no F-5B and RF-5A, no XB-35/49, not a single new tool 72nd scale aircraft( M-346, G-91 etc...) these people are living in some paralel universe 3

If they release it, because some reissues come out a few years after the first announcement, and some disappear from the list of those announced. 1
Sprue Picker Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Nice to see the 1/72 KC-135 back out-but still waiting for a 1/72 KC-46! 1 1
Phas3e Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I dont think Italeri has released a 1/48 Bf109E before so I wonder whos plastic it is.

PhantomBigStu Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I actually wondered this morning if ITALERI were going to reissue the kc135 at some point. Im now scared they are watching me given it was on the throne 1 4

JWM Posted January 17 Posted January 17 The Cant-1007! That is something expected for long time. Very interesting, how much (if any?) it will be improved regarding the Supermodel kit? Currently there is a WIP threat with super detailing build of old Supermodel kit by @Bruno P The first posts there are showing how much non-accurate the Supermodel kit was. The long time gap with this re-issue compare to Savoia Pipistrello and Cant Z 506 might rise hopes, that the tooling is improved... On the other hand - it is not written, if I see it right. There is a re-issue of Do 217 K2, but, I am waiting for E variant.... The K2 stands on my shelf. I like the re-appearance of an ambulance Ju-52 with superdecals set. 1

Thank so much JWM for your mention about my WIP. I have to say I'm not an Italeri fan but I wait to see if this new CANT 1007 is really new and how is done. Is the same quality of ICM (i.e.) kits? Waiting to see. Bye!! 1

Piotr Mikolajski Posted January 18 Posted January 18 3 hours ago, Bruno P said: I wait to see if this new CANT 1007 is really new and how is done. New kits from Italeri have '100% New Moulds' label, like Macchi C.200, C.202 or F-35. No 'New Parts' label or 'PE' badge either so this seems to be just ordinary rebox of old Supermodel kit with 'Super Decals'.
