Hello everyone

 

Here's my Eduard Weekend Edition Spitfire Mk Ia, out of the Group Build "To the Few...".

Built straight OOB, except the PE seat belts. Shown with the kit decals of 234 Sqn.

Very nice indeed!  Those are probably the best colours I’ve seen on a Spitfire model.  Which paints did you use?

I work with Tamiya and Gunze Acrylics.

Underside is Tamiya's Sky XF-21, blended with different greys and white.

Upper side main colours are Gunze H72 dark earth and Tamiya XF-81 dark green. Also here with the addition of some lighter and darker shades of the same or similar colours.
